Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using OnDose ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. OnDose is operated by Sidney Ottelohe ("we", "us", "our"), based in Belgium.

2. Nature of the Service

OnDose is an educational wellness tool. It helps you organise your supplement stack, check for known interactions from published research, and track your daily intake.

OnDose is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It does not provide medical advice. Information displayed in the app is for educational purposes only and is based on published nutritional science.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your supplement regimen or interpreting lab results. Do not disregard professional medical advice because of something you read in OnDose.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use OnDose. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • One person, one account. Shared accounts are not permitted.

5. Subscription and payments

Pricing

OnDose is a paid subscription service at $7.99 USD per month. All features are included. There is no free tier.

Free trial

New users receive a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly rate.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device
  • Billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

Cancellation

  • You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Google: Play Store > Subscriptions.)
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.
  • We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use OnDose as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application
  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without written permission
  • Upload malicious content, spam, or data intended to disrupt the Service
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

7. Health information disclaimers

Interaction data, timing suggestions, and educational content in OnDose are derived from published research (NIH, EFSA, PubMed). They represent general nutritional science, not personalised medical advice.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The absence of interaction data for a supplement combination does not mean the combination is safe. Always consult your healthcare provider.

8. Your data

You own your data. We process it to provide the Service and for no other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, GDPR compliance, and your rights.

  • Export: you can download all your data as JSON or CSV at any time from Profile > Settings > Export data
  • Delete: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile > Settings > Delete account
  • No lock-in: if you leave, your data leaves with you

9. Intellectual property

The OnDose name, logo, design, and curated supplement database are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.

Content you create (your stacks, check-ins, notes) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service.

10. Community-contributed data

When you scan a barcode or photograph a label for a product not yet in our database, the product information (name, ingredients, doses) may be added to our shared database after review. This data is factual product information, not personal data, and is not linked to your account.

11. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
  • We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from your use of information displayed in OnDose
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time via Profile > Settings > Delete account
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practical
  • Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy (30-day soft delete, then permanent erasure)

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Belgium.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the law of your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated terms, you may delete your account before they take effect.

17. Apple App Store and Google Play terms

This section applies when you download or use OnDose through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. In the event of any conflict between this section and the rest of these Terms, this section prevails for App Store and Play Store users.

Acknowledgement

You acknowledge that this agreement is between you and Sidney Ottelohe, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"). We, not Apple or Google, are solely responsible for OnDose and its content. This agreement may not provide for usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or Google Play Terms of Service.

Scope of licence

You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use OnDose on any Apple-branded or Android device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or Google Play Terms of Service. OnDose may be accessed by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

Maintenance and support

We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for OnDose, as described in this agreement or as required under applicable law. You acknowledge that Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to OnDose.

Warranty

We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of OnDose to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google and they will refund the purchase price for the application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to OnDose, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.

Product claims

You acknowledge that we, not Apple or Google, are responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to OnDose or your possession and use of it, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

Intellectual property

You acknowledge that, in the event of any third-party claim that OnDose or your possession and use of OnDose infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple or Google, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-party terms

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using OnDose. For example, you must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement when using the application.

Third-party beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, Google, and their respective subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple and Google will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
